I type in my blog address to see if anyone has posted comments. I'm thrilled to see there's 9 comments to my earlier post...and then I read them. Seven of them were spam! I haven't experienced this before, but I'm pissed! Each one said something like "Love your blog. I'll be bookmarking it. Hey, check out my site on landscaping/poker/cialis/party hostesses/Russian girls, etc..."
Don't put your filth on my site!
However, if you are a true reader/family/friend, please do leave a comment. I love getting the feedback and knowing I made you laugh or at least wrote something that you can relate to.

The spam's getting aggravating, isn't it?! Blogger has a new tool in its 'Comments' section with letter verification to ensure you're getting a comment from a real person - hope this helps.
Nothing on the internet is safe from spam! I get so frustrated when checking my e-mails. I see I'm receiving 11 messages...I download them all and 9 of them are spam...ahhh!!!

Besides, it's way too confusing when I'm asked to choose between Christian marriage help and Penis Enlargement. Oh, where to click first. :)
This happened to me last night for the first time.
You can reduce this problem withing the settings of your blog, under the comments tab. There is an option that requires commenters to do a word verification before posting and will minimize spam-bots from getting to you.
woops - just noticed that hannah said the same thing.
