And now back to our regularly scheduled commenters...sheesh spammy comments! I love all the silly stuff, big smiles and fun. The good times are on a roll. Can't wait to see how you and M live it up this weekend.
Auntie Norma, Jenn & Anna are making what we call "stuffing." Historically, it was stuffed into the cavity of the turkey before baking, but later that was deemed not safe due to salmonella. Jenn's recipe is my favorite. She sautés the mushrooms with onions and then mixes it with different kinds of cubed bread and fresh herbs from her garden. I think she uses butter and maybe an egg to get it all to stick together. We eat it with gravy on top. Delicious!
Yummy..thanks,Emily..I might try that way this year..our 'Stuffing' is Sage and Onion with plenty of pepper..(sage from own garden mind) :o) but I bet the Mushies make it nicer..thanks again. x A.Norma.x
